      Size change

I love the ground grabba. However, I recently ordered more and the bit you sent with my original order is too big for the new stakes. I wish I’d know this earlier. I was unprepared for an installation.

      Hi Sabrina,
Thank you for sharing your recent experiences of your order with us and others.

Without going into several paragraphs, the change in hex head size was the trade off we made to bring our manufacturing home to the US. We simply couldn't get it made here to the same hex size that was previously made in China.

All our descriptions and information on the product pages were updated, however, it is probably something previous owners like yourself wouldn't have read through.

If there's anything we can do to help the transition for you please let us know.

Thank you once again for taking the time out of your day to share your recent experiences, I/we really appreciate it.

      Fantastic product

I set up a tent 35 weekends a year for three days each at art shows. My tent has to endure all kinds of wild weather. I have been using dog twist in hold downs for many years along with weights. They are time consuming and sometimes just too weak in hard ground. I found and ordered the 12" & 18" Ground Grabbers. They are without a doubt one of the best investments I have made for my tent setup. Very quick to install and soooo easy. I would recommend these to anybody that has something they want to anchor down in the sand or dirt. Great product! To add to that it came in the best shipping box one could ask for, very profesional!

      Hey Scott,

Huge thank you for typing out the review of your experience using your GroundGrabba products. Years of design and testing went into creating these...hard to believe I know, but true. We appreciate your feedback and comparison to your old dog twist in tie downs, weights and how your GroundGrabba's performed. Also I/we appreciate your feedback of the box they arrived in.

      Best Regards

I have a large sculpture that I was having trouble anchoring in the ground. I'd seen Ground Grabba in action when installing a piece for a fellow artist. They worked slick--even in the sandy soil of Cape Cod. I used the 12-inch variety with the washers and had no problems. Can think of many more uses outside of my art.I will DEFINITELY use Ground Grabba again!!!

Hey Roe, huge thank you for taking the time to leave your review. I am personally very thankful to you for that. Great to know that you met with great success in anchoring down your large sculpture using your GroundGrabba Pro ground anchors.

      Mediocre at best

The stake was fine, but the hex key was hard to use. The stake also ripped the ground up so it did not stay in well.

When deploying, there is a balance between speed and downward pressure on your drill. The faster the drill speed and or the less downward weight can mean all you are doing is boring a hole in the ground. Once you get used to it, you will find the right measure of speed and downward pressure that will BITE into the ground and therefore hold really well.

The hex tool within the HexHook is a tool to help mainly extract your GroundGrabba's. To use them to help deploy defeats the purpose of the whole concept of using your drill to deploy them.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. :)
